Jared Groome and Jaben Groome are the co-owners and founders of Groome Floor Coverings. Maureen Eichel is the Accounts Manager and Office Administrator.
Always keenly interested in keeping up to date in the commercial flooring industry, Jared participates in various LinkedIn associations and information forums related to their floor coverings business.
These include the British Columbia Construction Association, the Institute of Professional Flooring Contractors, The Professional Estimators Group, The Flooring Group, and Construction Management. Tracking industry-related trends and issues and learning about new floor covering products allows them to better serve their customers.
All of their commercial carpet installers are Red Seal Certified Journeyman having served three-year apprenticeships in their field. Amongst the company’s commercial customers are builders, interior designers, institutions, contractors, real estate companies, and architects.
Jared Groome
Jared Groome, a graduate of Brookswood Secondary in Langley, has completed several key accounting courses and has his Red Seal Certification in Floor Covering Installations. His experience in the flooring industry ranges from preparing orders at the warehouse to providing estimates and managing projects in a full, hands-on manner. His skills and expertise include project estimation, contract management, value engineering and project bidding.

Jaben Groome
Started Groome Floors from scratch in 2012 His flooring life succeeded through pure will and determination as he worked his way up from a material handler, truck driver, apprentice, red seal journeyman to an estimator and project manager prior to starting Groome. Then while at groome, in addition to the above positions he’s been a dispatcher and an owner. Currently focuses on estimating and project management.

Maureen Eichel
Maureen Eichel brings her accounting and payroll experience and helpful, friendly personality to Groome Floor Coverings. She is the Accounts Manager as well as the Office Administrator for the business; capably handling all the day-to-day office procedures and responsibilities which ensure that Groome Floor Coverings’ customers are satisfied and supported in their flooring projects.

Quinton Leeson - Estimator/Project Manager
Quinton is a red seal journeyman who has been working at Groome Floor Coverings since 2015. During his time as an installer, he won awards at a national floor covering apprenticeship contest. His strong work ethic led him in 2020 to transition into the office and take on the role of an estimator/project manager.

Tommy Butler - Dispatcher
Tommy is a red seal journeyman with many years of experience installing commercial flooring. His wealth of flooring knowledge helps the crews if they need any assistance with any difficult installations. He works with our office staff and our customers to schedule installations and make sure the jobs are all completed as best as we can.
